Easy Teriyaki Sauce – A small batch

1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ginger powder

Combine ingredients in a small container, cover, shake well, and let sit until sugar is completely dissolved. This can easily be made with fresh grated garlic and ginger if you have them on hand.
